This community service activity aims to improve the community’s knowledge, skills, and participation in land use through the planting and cultivation of horticultural crops in SumberBendo Village. The activity was carried out by the Panca Marga University Community Service Program (KKN) Team in collaboration with the Posyandu Women’s Cadres using a participatory approach (Participatory Rural Appraisal). The crops cultivated included small chili peppers, large chili peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes. The stages of the activity included coordination, identification of locations and needs, provision of seedlings, education, land preparation, planting, cultivation, mentoring, and monitoring of plant growth. The results of the activity showed an increase in the community’s understanding and skills in planting, watering, fertilizing, weeding, thinning, staking, and controlling plant pests. This activity also has the potential to support household food security and the sustainable development of the community’s productive economy.
